Techno International Batanagar is an Institute under the vision of Techno
India Group, One of the largest knowledge management groups in the eastern
part of the country having 4 Universities, 20 Engineering Colleges & 10
B-Schools, 15 Schools, Hospital, Press and many more.
Established in the year 2012, the Institute has already made its presence felt by its vibrant campus in the Maheshtala – Taratala region of The City of joy- The Industrial Hub of the City.
The Institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT), formerly known as WBUT.
The Institute runs B.Tech curriculum in ten branches of
engineering , viz.
The Institute also runs Diploma courses, which are approved by AICTE & affiliated with the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development with an intake of 30 students in each branch. The following branches of diploma courses are:
The institute started BCA and BBA courses approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT) from 2024 onwards.
The Institute was developed with a vision to build it as a Centre of Excellence for technical education. The Institute has been giving maximum stress on modern teaching methodologies, Faculty development, promotion of research activities so that the students graduating from the institute are industry-ready professionals with leadership values and high degree of professional skills.
Moreover TIB as a family had taken the initiative to bridge the gap between academic and non-academic ambit by introducing a number of co-curricular and extra –curricular activities in the college in the form of number of committees linked with the academic sphere.

In spite of its phenomenal growth, Techno India still remains a dedicated family of 2500 professionals including doctors, engineers, scientists, chartered accountants, lawyers and management professionals along with 40,000 students and a host of well-wishers, dedicated to the same cause that inspired us in our inception. We are still an organization that believes in the future and the power of technology to deliver that future one student at a time.

I congratulate to the students for considering Techno International Batanagar (TIB), Kolkata, West Bengal as a destination of your engineering education. TIB is an institution dedicated for students’ aspirations for excellence in technical education. The motto of our institute is “commitment to a relentless pursuit towards imparting quality education to meet the ever–changing requirements of today’s industry by continuous streamlining and updating the course curricula”. With highly qualified and dedicated staff members in our service, the kind of infrastructure and facilities we have build over the years, we are sure to mould the students in such a way as to make them industry Ready.
Our college, situated amidst extensive lush green settings, has beautiful campus and buildings to provide the right environment for progressive learning to the students. Modern teaching methods using Digital Classes in all class rooms encourage and train the mind of the young future engineers to analyze, reflect, synthesis and enjoy the class room teaching. Moreover a lot of emphasis is given to train the students to improve and enrich their communication skills and managerial skills to meet the demand of the present corporate world.

The prime motive of this institution is to bridge the gap between the industry and academia. The initiative is to make the institution a “Model Engineering College” wherein industry focus is primary the regular classes, from the beginning of the course, particularly when specialization in subject starts, after the completion of the first year course. The students can enrich their knowledge outside the syllabus with regular industry visit, guest lecture, seminars and workshop organized by the institute. Awareness and feasibility comprehends the syllabus in such a way so as to make them professional in the right form. Students are motivated for higher studies in the field of science and technology and encouraged for publications and writings.
The institute has compliance with other organization like Institute of Engineers (IEI), Computer Society of India (CSI), Bengal Chamber of commerce and Industry (BCCI), Confederation of Indian Industries (CII),Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG).

Techno International-Batanagar was established in the year 2012 and since then has been providing a pioneering service in engineering education for West Bengal. The Institute is as part of a Techno India Group, the largest conglomerate and distinguished name in education sector in India.
Located in the industrial heart throb of Kolkata, the college is proud to have a highly motivated team of faculty and staff members who take every effort in mentoring and transforming the aspiring students into engineering professionals, with excellent employability and leadership skills. The Institute at every step is keen to provide students the best academic support through continuous interaction between students and faculty members, going beyond their syllabus in many instances.
